Not sure if any of you have seen this or not yet, was new to me...
Reminded me of a couple weeks ago about a discussion on AI-generated pedal plugins. Cool idea but sounded kinda crappy in execution.
Not really the same thing, but made me think of it...
Anyways as I understand it (and I'm no programmer so I'm probably stating things incorrectly) it's more or less accomplishing similar to Quad Cortex or Kemper "captures" but by training a neural network on an amp's input. Bad news is that depending on hardware used it can take a few hours to generate a model. Good news is that it's free and open-source and sounds really, really good....
Worth a watch IMO.
