NGD - an acoustic of my own

Gift from my father. Sadly arthritis is setting in so the axes are going out to kids and grandkids. Thankfully I didn't have to pay dad back for this guitar.

So far I love how it plays and sounds. But even if was garbo I'd never sell it. Did that once and it broke my dad's heart.

I'm an acoustiy care novice. Is this something I should have a luthier look at so it doesn't spread, like a windshield chip?

Other than that, it's flawless.

Beautiful guitar!
Seconded on getting the crack checked out. Should be a very simple repair, so it’s worth doing now before it spreads and becomes less simple

Super glue fixes cracks like that. StewMac even sells a specifically formulated superglue for just that. Having said that, it's super easy to make a super mess with super glue. I have a luthier that has worked with BIG bands going on tour with them.

He's got a signed picture of him standing next to Jimmy Page. But the thing I like most about him is he accepts weed as payment, and I have weed growing *as a weed* in my backyard, lol....
