Hey guys, I built a Nobelium from c2c; however, the sound is almost 'intermittent' for to a lack of words. The pedal works but will lose quality, as in a lack of highs, and the lows get very midrange-focused. When you turn the treble knob up, the sound gets thin and brittle and loses volume. However, occasionally it fixes itself, and more often than not, if I smack it really hard, it makes a clicking/zapping sound, and then the pedal will work and sound like it should until it is smacked again or goes back to the poor signal. It sounds like a possible shorting or weak connection, but I can't visibly see any issues. I've visibly inspected and all the solder joints look to be solid and not cold, and nothing seems to be loose. Any suggestions on what to troubleshoot or how to trace down a possible poor connection on the board? I can send a sound clip and pictures if that would help.
For reference, this is the second Nobelium i've built and the first one worked perfectly and have sat them side by side to compare but i'm at a loss.
