noise issue

that is a very cool enclosure.

you may need more shielding between the two pedals that you get from packing them in one enclosure. not impossible that your SS-2 is picking up some noise from the light speed. you could try temporarily removing the power to the light speed to see if it changes what you are hearing in the SS-2

Good to know it is not getting picked up from the other pedal -- that means your builds can go together in the same box. does changing any of the settings, or turning down the incoming level, change the electric chair noise? It also only sounds when a note is playing, right? May be a cold solder connection in the audio path. An audio probe might let you find where it originates. I would also touch up all the connections on the sockets for the ICs.

I stack my drives, and this noise does bleed through when stacking.
When it is first the noise is not as bad, when it is the second pedal in line, It is at the level of the recording, The recording was only the pedal with the sustain turned up above what I normally use it at.
