It’s been a while since I’ve built a pedal, but wanted to try out something new. A Reddit user told me I had to build this and sent me this board he’d made up in the mail. I’ve only ever worked on a printed pcb, so figuring out how to follow the diagrams on the effects layout website was new, but I figured it out.
I didn’t have the right type of bias resistors, so I ended up wiring resisters in parallel to try for what would be the midpoint.
I think the most interesting part of the pedal is the decal. I’ve been searching for a way to do light colored decals on dark enclosures because I don’t like being limited to lighter colored enclosures. I finally took the plunge and ordered white Metallic Film-less decal paper from Sunnyscopa. And I’m fairly pleased with the results.
I highly recommend it as it only adds a couple of steps to the no film guide already posted in the forums.
