Sad story: Mark Sandman died on stage of a heart attack. The show was part of a summer music festival in a small Italian town outside of Rome (Qotsa, Therapy? and Chumbawamba played there). That’s the town I grew up in and I was there that night. My best friend had a full on panic attack.
Funny story: some a-hole threw a plastic bottle at the stage during the Therapy? show and hit the singer in the arm. He was pissed!
Ahah yeah he was damn right. But he was graceful enough to keep the show going even though it looked like his arm was getting swollen (my memory is a bit fuzzy on that tbh). The show was pretty good. And this was post their brief fame on MTV.Andy's the singer in Therapy? I'm not surprised he was pissed. He's a really good guy, my dad always thought he was a useless stoner who spent all day singing to himself instead of working. He said he'd never amount to anything. I love reminding my dad about that
