Onboard boost recommendations

Hey everybody, I'm new here. I'm looking for recommendations on what board would work well as an onboard boost in my Starcaster. I'm concerned with noise, since it won't be in an enclosure. Any advice is appreciated!

Another vote for JTEX, if you go full DIY size is going to be annoying to work with. The JTEX stuff fits right in. I've got an Axtivator in one guitar, a Distiller CE in a bass and I'm planning to put a Boosty McBuffer into a hollowbody this summer, time/energy permitting.
