Help!
I just build the Organ Donor. And I actually felt pretty confident about it. Everything went smooth. But I have no sound! At least no "wet" sound.
Two things:
- If I turn the mix knob fully clockwise and I plug the adapter in. I hear white noise. When I move the mix knob a tiny bit it completely disappears in one go and doesn't come back again (until I unplug and plug the DC knob again)... If the mix knob is anywhere else than fully CW when I plug the DC I don't hear white noise at all.
- With the mix knob CCW I have my dry sound. If I move the knob to the right my dry sound slowly fades out till complete silence..
- All the other knobs have no effect whatsoever..
- The footswitch (and LED) work normally.
My feeling is that this is a digital problem. Could it be that the FV-1 chip is broken? The polarity is right (right?)
Thanks for the help!
