Ultimately this is an old and decent pedal by todays standards. But I think it works nicely and can get some good tones. You may be surprised how well this works if you dial it in for leads with the mids up or for maybe old marshally rock/punk tones with the mids down. It gets a bit of fuzz like sustain with the mids up.
