This is the build I did for the Other* Pedals Wonk Machine. This is the kit that came with everything except the pots.
This is a circuit based on the EQD Zap Machine. Which is based off the Zonk Machine.
I tried building a couple Zonk machines variant before with poor results. So I went with the full kit. The transistors are crucial in this one so it was nice to not have to audition a bunch to find the right one.
The Zonk Machine is a buzzy thing. Its not my favorite fuzz but its still cool as hell. Lots a fun with it.
The enclosure is nice except the screw holes were poorly tapped so I had to re-tap them. Ive heard this was an issue with Tayda enclosures so I assume thats where they sourced these. If I had to do it again I would not do the kit since I already had all the parts and what I had was better quality.
Either way its a cool one to add to the collection.
