Pandemic (over) fuzz

This one is dedicated to @SYLV9ST9R who hosted the contest and provided the prize, a full Pandemic fuzz kit! They say the pandemic is over, although I am not so sure. This fuzz is great tho. I even took some time to record a quick audio demo (with my phone, nothing serious). Excellent choice of graphics and knobs I will say!

The build went pretty smooth until it didn't. I didn't realize I was supposed to mount the pots on the components side (the long lead pots should have tipped me off) - see troubleshooting thread for details. Some amount of desoldering fixed that. Then I had to solder the transistors in the sockets because they were a bit wobbly. Smooth sailing from there.

Yeah! Glad you got it together on the right side
I find that pressing the end of the transistor legs with plier helps to ensure a tighter fit, but I’ll solder one leg in the socket if they’re loose.

Honestly this is the first time this happened to me. Maybe these particular transistors have skinnier legs?

It was the first time I tried it, and it looks great. I'd recommend a gloss varnish layer.
Will definitely do it again.
