parentheses mini done! very funny pedal, what do the switch(on/off/on) positions correspond to?, in the center position the volume/gain is increased is normal? i try an old lm308n i like the distortion and tone but with it the octave is as if started late, i cant explain, maybe is defective, with the op07 everithing is ok.

I get the diode from retroamplis, sounds very good

I got a batch MA858's from Retroampolis as well and afaik they're legit and sound great.
I've been messing around a bit with the BAS33's which sound very similar to the MA856/858's.
Those have also been disco'd but Mouser still has them cheap, so I bought a boatload.
