Paragon Mini Questions

so is the only real difference between the regular paragon and the mini the charge pump? I've seen reviews saying the 9v non charge pump is way better sounding so I decided to go with the mini just wanted to clarify that that's what is different.

next question the MA856 and the 1S1588 are obviously really hard to get so I've seen that you can sub for some other diodes specifically I believe id be subbing 1N4148 for the MA856 and the 1N914 for the 1S1588? or do i have it backwards?
 
1n914 and 1n4148 diodes are functionally the same. You’re maybe thinking about a rectifier diode (e.g., 1n4001) in one of those positions.

Edit: the suggestions above are all good substitutions.
