Parasite Wah pot that fits all the specs/dimensions

Well, I had Covid *again*, so I had nothing better to do other than search the planet for a pot that fit Slot A and Gear B.

The build docs specified the wah pedal and hardware at Smallbear, but they've discontinued. I bought the Wah hardware at CE Dist which has a gear that extends out to .75 of an inch after the mounting slot, with a half inch gear that fits at the very end of a splined 6mm shaft that is dual gang, A10K, no detent, no switch.

A picture is worth a thousand dimensions:

The part number. The good thing is it's actually fairly inexpensive to the PLETHORA of pots I've looked at.

I've ordered a few. I'll post an update once I fit it to the enclosure, so don't turn that channel!!!

In case you're wondering I've had covid 6 times, the first time Jan 11th 2020 when the talking heads on TV were still saying "over there in China". I live in a super spreader hot spot, one of the hottest on the map. At 67 it's still only slightly worse for me than the flu pain wise. I have a compromised immune system from having my abdominal lymph nodes removed at the same time they were cutting the cancer out. Pain pills and loads of chicken broth work great, lol....

Hey man Did you ever get this Parasite wah up and running? I'm still on the search for the right pot as well!

I did find some, but can't remember what they were. They are in the packaging I got with them with part#/supplier data.

I have the project in mothballs right now as I kept getting covid repeatedly after this and all the way up to the beginning of 2024. I seemed to have developed a very good resistance to it now and I only get covid-y for a few hours before it clears up.

I got engaged last night, so things are kinda busy right now. I've made a note in my "to do" doc to get to this soon!

Cheers, damn, and Congrats Dude!
I get life getting in the way, my basement flooded twice last year, had to replace most of the 100 year old pipes in my house, then found out my wife and i are having a second kiddo. So, me myself i am working on all my back logged projects!

They say when it rains it pours....

My RAM truck overheated on the way home a month ago, lost the serpentine belt because the water pump had like 5 inches of up and down play in it. Killed the fan, the shroud, and the heat generated fried the power steering and the transmission. In the shop they also had to replace all four tie rods, the steering yolk, the rack and pinion, the wheel bearings, the brakes were not installed properly and they had to add something.

Total $6400!!! ¡Aye Carumba!

And then the main bearing on my clothes dryer went out. Fortunately it went out on Black Friday, and I got $450 off on a 7.8 cu ft Samsung dryer with Steam Sanitize. This is the coolest dryer in the world. The steam not only sanitizes, it removes the static from the clothes and all the pet hair comes COMPLETELY off.

I have never seen hair free laundry because the hair generates so much static it's almost impossible to remove.

Anyway, even with the discount it was still almost $800

And just in time for Christmas.... But the truck HAULS butt now, so I think the tranny has always been effed up, this was just the last straw on the camels back.
