Put together a Park and Ride yesterday. I ran out of imaginative names so just called it 'Wah' so friends can have some idea of what it is.
One issue was that the TL074 is not a 16 pin IC, but a 14 pin, so I had no sockets for it and had to solder it direct. Another was that it requires a 4u7 electrolytic which I didn't have so I used 2 x 10uF in series. (If you place the anode of one and cathode of other through the holes first, then connect the spare leads, it fits). Well, it all worked.
Been playing it for while and it has greatly exceeded my expectations - if you have one, find a minor blues backing track or loop and give it some - it has that incredible Peter Green flute-like wail (without having to mod the guitar). Another great tone to add to the pedalboard.
I didn't touch the trimpot but I get that killer tone with everything in the middle - is it worth opening it up to try the trimmer?
