Part Alternative or Replacement - DC DC CONVERTER DUAL 12V 1W

Hello,

I am trying to put together the following circuit: https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/pcb625/. The BOM calls for an IAB0105D12 (DC DC CONVERTER DUAL 12V 1W), but from what I can tell, that part is EoL. Digikey is suggesting the following part as a replacement: IA0512S ( DC DC Converter 2 Output 12V -12V 42mA 4.5V - 5.5V).

I have read the datasheets on both, and the only differences I can see are that IAB0105D12 has an 81% tolerance and max capacitive load of 220uf, whereas IA0512S has 78% tolerance and a max capacitive load of 100uf.

Do those differences matter enough to try to find a different replacement for IAB0105D12 or should the IA0512S suffice?

Thanks!

A lot will depend on the capacitance in the circuit. There are 10uF capacitors across the power supply which is a good start as they are well under the 100uF which is specified. Traco also do this kind of converter, but I am not sure if the pinouts and sizing are the same.
