Pastel transistors

@Robert I saw that the 2n6428 available in the store are super close to the required 2n6429, just lower gain, so I grabbed some along with my pcb. Now I feel like i should double check so I'm not solder sucking 18 joints. Those are intended for the pastel, yes no?

Those are for the Trademark Fuzz.

I'm not saying they won't work, but I used MPSA18 for the Pastel.

I'm seeing some 2N6429A transistors available on ebay. Is the "A" variant the same as 2N6429? Sometimes that denotes different gain levels but I'm having a hard time finding out definitively
