Pedal PCB Roboto

I have two of these boards and had not been able to find the chips… where did you get them?

Just a quick search turned up ...
https://www.digipart.com/part/HT8950 a list of suppliers to check out
https://www.banzaimusic.com/HT8950.html says they're in stock, but Banzai has a history of saying "In Stock" when they're not.
https://www.musikding.de/HT8950_1 Reliable in my experience
https://synthcube.com/cart/ht8950-chorus-vibrato-ic — 25 available currently, also generally reliable.

That's not checking out the esoteric places that might have them, such as local shops to fellow PPCBers that also happen to be online.

I can tell you NO-HAVE:
StompBoxParts
Jameco *used to!
Thonk
Synthrotek
... bunch more I checked but don't remember who 'cause really only matters if they DO have them.

Does it sound something like this?
It does now. I suspect I had a stray wire causing problems, as I took it out of the housing to check for obvious solder bridges etc.. and didnt see anything. Put it back and now its "better". Still weird as hell, but better :)

Thanks for sharing this. I like build reports like this one so I don't waste time and money chasing an obscure, out-of-production chip to end up with a pedal that just makes weird noises.
