Pedalpcb board directly into the guitar rather then the enclosures

Wondering how complicated it would be to build a few effects boards right inside the guitar itself. Has anyone ever tested that out and if so how was the end result? I would love to give it a go once i get a few successful pedals under my belt. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

Make sure you consider powering the effects. Depending on their collective current draw, a battery might not cut it. Some system to switch off the battery when not playing would be required. Or alternatively you could run a power supply cable along with your instrument cable.

It’s definitely doable, but frankly PPCB boards are a bit big for mounting in a guitar IMO.
I do SMD layouts for my internally-mounted effects since it’s considerably smaller than anything through-hole. As long as you have room though, there’s nothing to stop you from going for it! Compressors and Fuzzes are especially fun inside a guitar

You could easily fit Bi-Phase PCB inside an acoustic guitar…

GRETSCH!

I keep tellin' yah...

Just snap off the back cover...

Shove in your Electrovibe PCB right next to your Parenthesis PCB, and you've probably still got enough room for a Pharmacist PCB and a Kliché as well...

Then just snap the cover back on...
