I dig it. Powerful fuzz circuit and the controls are useful. When you crank the output it goes all the way to the promised land with headroom to spare. The sustain potentiometer does just that - sustain forever and ever! I think this is a great harmonic fuzz and it can also be a distortion pedal. No flub or spitting and sagging. The tone knob works as intended and there are no internal trimmers. Just four 549c transistors make the magic.
I used a Love My Switches limited sunflower pulp enclosure. I love the darkness of the enclosure in person. I was going for a Raincoat color like the Morton Salt Girl and clear knobs from Small Bear like water or rain. I used a 2kg click footswitch and switchcraft jacks. I also utilize the PPCB top jack plate for 125b builds. I used a traditional waterslide and I sprayed the enclosure with Spraymax 2k clear.
The board is laid out well and there are no difficult-to-find parts. If you love fuzz or even kind of like it, do yourself a favor and build one of these.
