To my ears this fuzz circuit is less harmonic and maybe more what I expect from fuzz. Not staccato clipping, more uneven. The circuit produces lower frequencies well and the lustre potentiometer does not really get all the way to the treble promised land. You can roll gain to zero and you have more of an overdrive pedal. I like it overall and if you like fuzz, it may be a slightly different sound to inspire you.

Not many parts and no real hard to get parts. I used two 2N222a transistors from Stompbox. The enclosure is a cream colored Tayda enclosure with a waterslide decal. The pedal was clear coated with 2k glamour. I used Switchcraft jacks and a 2kg footswitch. The LED is a 3mm in a Freznel. For knobs I used two 20mm and one 15mm blue aluminum knobs. I used a PPCB top jack plate and for testing - the PPCB auditorium platform was needed for working out issues.

A note about the PCB. I put this together when I first started and it did not work. After the experience of participating here I was able to rescue the board. You can see I lifted a trace for the leg of the gain potentiometer and I did a MacGyver repair.
