PedalPCB Lemonade Overdrive

I built this a couple months ago and realized I’ve never done a build report on any builds so I figured I’d contribute SOMETHING to the community. This will be aimed mainly towards the new guys looking for good but easy builds. With probably 10 builds I consider myself new guy.

I don’t know how ya’ll do the stars build as far as build complexity I’ll give this 5 stars. It was as easy as it gets. I think the allure of the actual pedal with its mojo components is one of the reasons I wanted to build this. It’s supposed to be Led Zeppelin in a box from what I gather. It sounds good. Yea there’s better options for Zeppelin such a the Skreddy Screwdriver but this pedal can get you there. I do find the tone control to be lacking. It’s on the darker side so I have the treble turned up quite a bit. I know there were debates on different value Electrolytics used in couple areas but I followed the BOM. Maybe the different values will correct the tone? I also figured this would have more gain than it does. I’d be interested in hearing what the newest version sounds like. I believe it has 5 knobs. All in all a good, easy build for a beginner.

Artwork courtesy from my good buddy Andrew @Synchrony Pedalworks. As some of you know I don’t even own a computer so I don’t know what I’d use to do any artwork. However I don’t care for plain pedals…sorry @MichaelW lol-but it’s something I’m gonna have to get used too I suppose. Enclosure is from Tayda but I can’t remember the color. Not the cleanest build but they’ll get better. I have a few more to list before I get to my current project.

You are obviously a man of taste and good-breeding.
I always tell Andrew the same thing. Clean and symmetrical! BTW-This pedal benefits from a treble booster up front. I’ve been using chucks Mountain Oyster boost or Telex in both the bottom, treble booster, and middle clean booster mode. I still prefer the Screwderiver over it. I have the hybrid fuzz driver on deck using a lunar module board. Gonna be a little confusing but if it’s a Skreddy pedal I gotta try it.
