Kind of a one trick pony, it does the thing, and.... mainly it sounds like bees in a jar. The crunch switch is subtle and the sustain potentiometer goes from sustain to more sustain. The bias potentiometer does not do enough to be an external control IMO. Basically, you cannot get this thing to do much more than the thing, da da da da da da da - da dada da.

The enclosure is a bare aluminum 125b with a film free decal and it has been sprayed with 2k clear. Decal was printed on my Canon MF660C laser printer. The circuit has a few uncommon components like two 20n film capacitors (you can see I had to tie two tens together), two 2N3903 (from PPCB) transistors and two IN4003 diodes. Other than that there are not many parts and you can complete this board very quickly. I used a PPCB top jack plate and Switchcraft jacks. I used a soft click footswitch and a 3mm red LED in a diffused freznel. Matte red aluminum Davies 1510 knobs from LMS. The on/on spdt toggle switch is a Taiway and I used a dress washer under the toggle nut.

This circuit would easily fit in a 1590b.
