Easily fits in a 1590b. Circuit sounds amazing and that is why I made a few of these. For such a small amount of parts - the ROI is incredible. Uneventful and I am trying out new wiring methods for the side jacks. Besides the enclosure which takes a while... the rest of the project only takes hours.

It has Lumberg jacks and a 2kg click footswitch. The enclosure is a gold powder coated 1590b (MXR Style) with side jacks. The decal is film free and the pedal has been clear coated with Spraymax 2k clear. The knobs are 15mm. The pedal uses two BC108C transistors.

I was not sure if I like the darker gold which I think is from stomp or the wrinkled gold from Tayda.

I have one of these but haven’t built it yet. I’m confused about there being a bias pot on the inside and the outside…why 2 bias pots? and what’s the clean trimmer for?

The 50 K adds a lot of gain. The sundial seems like a little bit more of a confusing potentiometer. I messed with the 5K trimmer, but it didn’t seem to do much. The 50 K did a lot. Initially the pedal felt like it was underpowered and that’s the only reason I messed with the trimmer.

You can set it a few way.
Turn the dial down and just the trimmer to "pedal barely functions"
Set the dial to center and bias it to you're preferred FF bias voltage(4.2-4.5)

I am glad you watched it so you could direct me to 9 min. Helpful visual of how to bias. I have been doing it by ear.

With stave pots, you're not really biasing. You're just setting it for optimum functionality.

Thank you. So much to learn! I appreciate you. Usually if the pedal sounds great out of the gate I leave the trimmers alone. With a few pedals I had no choice. It is nice to see a demonstration of how someone else does it.
