Pets of PedalPCB

My cat (RIP) was a music fan, would sit around with me if I played guitar. I swear sometimes he had an affinity for some bands I like because whenever I listened to them, he'd chill by the speakers (he was a big Guided by Voices fan!).

My dog, he won't. He likes to sniff the strings but is bored if I start playing and leaves the room.

Awww, that's so sweet. My cat used to do the exact same thing. I had this incredible place on the top floor of a really old apartment while in college years ago. Was definitely quite the party pad, so music was constantly playing 18 out of 24hrs a day. Only when I played Grateful Dead, did my cat sleep on top of the speakers. We did a test, played GD, cat on speaker, played some other artist, cat left, back to GD, cat back on speaker.

My Dad grew up on a farm and always had kittens being born in the barn. When he got older, him and his brother started a rock band and put their equipment in the hay loft of the barn. They had a kitten that was born deaf and it would always crawl into the bass cab while they would be practicing and sleep. Definitely loved the bass vibe vibrations mon!

Here is an old girl. Her name is Yuca. She’s not my dog. I first met her in Nicaragua ten years ago. She was a puppy of about four months when she bounced out of the back of a ATV. She broke her back leg, and the vet didn’t set the leg perfectly. But she persevered. And when in her prime a few years ago, she was the fastest dog on the beach. Three and a half legs of pure fire and dynamite. No joke.
I’ve known four of her offspring. All friendly loveable smart goofballs. And when they would reconnect on the beach, they would happily chase and play and be… goofballs.
Also, a toucan has been visiting in the morning. Watching me make my morning coffee. Not my pet either.
I’ll try to get more animal photos while I’m in Nicaragua.

Thanks for the welcome! This is Godzilla. I got her from an animal rescue about 8 years ago when I needed help with rodent control living in the woods. She was a great mouser for me but now we live in town, so she's retired. View attachment 69833
She's beautiful, but don't let living in town fool you into thinking she's retired. My little Harley could tell you some stories....
