Phase II no led and pad issue

Hi!

Putting together a phaser II and no yellow LED. It is showing .5v

In the build I had to remove one of the ic sockets of IC 3, it was a pain in the ass but got it out and a new one in.

I was reflowing everything and came across one of the legs of IC 3 won’t take solder, there is also a little copper showing.

See photos.

Not sure what the next steps are to fix this, not sure if it is connected to the LED either but seemed like the largest hurdle.

I think that’s leg 5. I would just run a jumper from the IC pin to any of the locations circled in red. Just make sure you have the correct side all the red points should have continuity. 1737935034186.jpeg
I can’t really tell if the solder joints are cold or overfilled. Some look a little cold. I think the cold joints can be easier to identify from the top. I try to get the joints flush with the board on the other side like this. Flux and a clean iron with a small amount of fresh solder on it really helps.

I don’t think the LED issue is related to this. IC3 is on the LDR filtering section. This is the LFO section which runs the lights.

Did you adjust the trimmers already? It’s possible they won’t light on an extreme setting. Also double check the orientation of the LED. You could even do this by just jumping in an LED across the existing one.
