Looks like we’re taking the creative liberty of posting non-pedal builds in this thread, so here’s one of my summer projects.
I had a few old pine slabs left over from when my house was built in 1955. Originally, I filled the cracks and worm holes with gold epoxy, and turned them into shelves.
When I no longer needed the shelves, I plained them down, glued them, and turned them into a body blank.
Sold some junk on EBay to pay for a Mexican roasted tele neck with tuners all ready loaded.
I filled the grain with black filler, and finished it with de waxed shellac and waterlox.
