Easy build, worked first time.
It has a good range of sounds, more of a distortion at lower levels and fuzzier as you turn it up. I'd describe it as a 70s fuzz, kind of classic rock but useful for spacier prog sounds too.
This is my first time trying the footswitch LED loop thing, which worked out well except that I seem to have received some extra chunky Tayda enclosures because I had to take the washer off to get enough grip for the nut. But I like the way it looks. I used a 560 ohm resistor for this one, I tried a few and that one seemed to work best. Not too bright or too dim.
You can't see it very well in pic 2 but I ran one of these from the LED spot on the PCB and simply plugged it onto the LED prongs on the switch. Perfect fit, solid connection, easy to change if desired. (Tayda link is example only, I actually used one with shorter wires that came from AliExpress I think.)
