There’s something about Greer pedals that just sound right to me. In fact, the PPCB Precipice OD is my favorite drive. I’ve managed to find great tones from every Greer clone i’ve built. And yes, this is YATS but it pairs well with my other Greer clones i’ve built, so that makes it a considerably worthwhile build IMHO.
The Greer site suggests the real advantage to this pedal is its design to achieve the classic mid-hump with its clipping.
I’m enjoying this one, so if you need a TS on your board, this may be a choice that suits you.
