So after shooting myself in the foot far too many times than I care to admit, including ordering the wrong size knobs, I’m relieved and happy to have this one purring!! I’m not sure where my mind was on this one. Not my best work but man was a great sounding Marshall style pedal. Plenty of sustain and compression if needed or a strong boost if needed. I’ve only scratched the surface of what all this pedal can do. Highly recommended. Easy build if you avoid the dumb mistakes that I did lol. Rock on!

You may ask yourself why I build so many pedals in white heh. Well I haven’t had a paper weight build yet when I use a white enclosure!

I still have a Barber Direct Drive V2 that I bought in the early 2000's. One of the very few retail pedals I own.
This version, the Candid Drive, adds some bells and whistles but is still basically the same drive.
An under-appreciated MIAB pedal IMO. Nice job on the win!

Yea I tried messing up several times but luckily fixed. Then finished it up, I thought, only for it to make no sound when I plugged it in. Went back to my desk and just looked at it for a minute feeling sorry for myself….and noticed I’d wired the in and out jacks wrong lol! Fixed that and she worked! This pedal is loud. I have the standard BUSS on order.
