So now everyone but the drummer in my friends' band has a pedal.
The Dark Rift was really straightforward and I'm glad that the LED hookup was at the bottom, as I was able to hook up the ring led nicely along with the footswitch board. It was a tight fit which I should've checked first- the footswitch is right against the back of the enclosure!
This was my first time using Tayda's print service and everything went perfectly except I forgot to put a radius on the corners. I did it on one version, but must've slipped my mind on the final version. Oh well- it's a feature, not a bug.
The pedal is really fun to mess around with. It sounds just like the real thing and you can pull all sorts of trippy stuff with it along with straight forward slap. Very versatile. I especially love the Shape knob- check it out if you haven't yet.
