Finally had all the parts come in to finish this one off. Great sounding overdrive/distortion I think. Does it sound like a JCM800? I don’t know I’ve never played one but it has that Marshall growl. Not quite as “in the ear” as the Marshall 59 but does have more distortion. Not the hot rodded Marshall sound. I did expect this to have more distortion but I like it how it is.

Thanks. It does sound good but the Golden Falk still reigns supreme I think. I’m sure you’ve built the 1959 as well…I like it too but man that one hits me right in the ear hole and I don’t notice until I quit playing.
