Finished this up last night and love this pedal! I was expecting it to be higher gain than it is but I’m not disappointed as it’s what I imagine as a real early Plexi sounding like. Highly recommended.

Pretty easy build again thanks to Robert’s layout. I used an audio taper instead of linear for the volume and TL072’s instead of JRC4558D. Used my last two 1N34A’s for the diodes. Enclosure is the new cosmic lilac from SBP. Two things I’ve realized on this build is that I just don’t like Lumberg jacks or the Red stomp switch from SBP. It’s personal preference but I have a tougher time working with both of them. I suppose it’s because I’m so used to my regulars. Really looking forward to building the Boneyard “Hot for Teacher” after building this.

Clean! It's almost as if you have done this before!

If you're using 125 sized enclosures you don't really need to use Lumbergs. I try to use Switchcraft jacks wherever possible but the Lumbergs are good for 1590B builds for top jacks, which is predominantly what I do. I generally solder the hot lead to the jack outside the enclosure, bend the tab down as close as I can to the jack, and then install it.

I’ve just gotten so used to the closed box style with the small hole. I bought the Lumbergs because I thought it was gonna be a little tighter in there lol.
