All this talk about the Klon, magic diodes, fairy dust and unicorn farts was quite amusing for me, but I never really cared about the sound his thing was said to deliver, to be honest. That changed whenever @Chuck D. Bones was giving it the real deal bass treatment, not just changing some caps.
So yeah, here we go, I used OA1183 as Ge diodes, because they had a forward voltage of 0.35 (0.343 and 0.349 to be exact). Then Wima caps, some tantalums and a silver mica for good measure. Fancy aluminium knobs too.

As I love (and have) cats, I looked for a cat centaur kinda thing.
