Basically a Timmy pedal without a toggle switch. A sweet transparent overdrive and a bit of tube-taxing-crunch. I like it but isn't it just a boost pedal? Or an EQ? It features four knobs: Level, Gain, Treble, and Bass. Having the bass knob is great for avoiding muddy tone. With these four potentiometers I can get it to sound glassy clean with shimmery tones, and I can dial up low punch and crunch. It can growl like a Fender Blackface Deluxe amplifier. I always run pedals through a 1964 Vibroveb (one 15" speaker) and a 1965 Super Reverb (four 10" speakers). Each one sounds very different and I often prefer pedals with the Super Reverb. This pedal does sound like my own amps cranking and there are useful controls so I give it high marks.
This is not a difficult build and there are not many parts. I used a Tayda 125b with a film-free decal, and then 2k glamour clear. Inside I used a soft click footswitch and Switchcraft jacks. The op-amp is a NE5532p. I used a PPCB top jack plate and some interesting 20mm aluminum knobs.

Notes
- The board is small and would easily fit in a 1590b
- The only difficult part is a 150pf
- The NE5532p op-amp - if you do not have one you can substitute for this op-amp with an LM833, OPA2134 or an easy to find low cost TL072
- No 1N5817 for circuit protection? PDF and PCB markings called for a 1N4148 in D100 - so I followed
