I think it is a good time to pause at 100 completed pedals. I will have to keep this pedal because it is a milestone for me and a marker on my pedal building journey. I have many to thank for helping me in this hobby. This pedal has a film-free decal so I have to thank the @Guardians of the analog for their tutorial on film free and for encouragement when I needed it. I also found another film free tutorial that helped by @MattG
I have to thank @Robert for identifying problems in my early builds and never making me feel as stupid as I am. I have to thank Jovi Bon Kenobi for the workflow tips - my pedals only look ok because of their tutorial. And @Harry Klippton for showing me the proper way to fit components and PPCBs in smaller enclosures. I very much appreciate the people who make constructive comments.

When I began building Stewmac kits I was just happy if they worked. I soon decided this was a cool hobby I went all in and purchased everything I could. After a few PPCB builds I envisioned one day building MXR and mini style pedals. I am still not really a pedal builder but I can problem-solve better and I have some basic understanding of circuits. So that brings me to this pedal... number 100. It is fitted in a 1590b and it is one of my top ten favorite overdrive circuits.

This build utilizes a Tayda lawn green enclosure with a film free decal that copies the original ODR-1. The decal is covered with SprayMax 2k gloss clear (glamour) and in person, it looks soaking wet. I like the look of green enclosure with red knobs so I repeat it quite often. Inside I matched every component value with the BOM. There are a few components that are not in standard assortment kits and you could use a "close enough" capacitor but I wanted it exact. I used Lumberg side jacks and D.C. jack. I managed to fit a full size soft click footswitch with a breakout board in this enclosure.

Thanks to all who helped and encouraged me as I was trying to make pedals. I am going to sip some tequila now and plug my tele into this overdrive.

Looks great, appreciate the shout-out. Lots of great, friendly, helpful and generous folks on this forum.

One of my earlier builds (before I joined this forum) was the Aion Andromeda, which is their take on the ODR-1 circuit. I love the sound of that drive, but could never get the EQ to sit right in a band setting.

You might consider tying the power and I/O grounds together behind the PCB, then you’d only have to run a single ground wire up to the top of the board. (Incidentally, this is how Aion specs their 125B top-mount jacks.)

Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate you.
