My lead guitarist was looking to try something different then his regular TS-808 so I told him I can build him an SD-1. After I had everything set up and heard him play through it I knew I needed my own so here we are. As I have done with my Muzzle I'm using a SBP Tomic Gold with a Textured Black backplate. I think I'm leaning towards leaving my personal builds unlabeled for the hell of it.
I did do a few mods to this one. The Tone control is W20K since I don't have any B20K that are knurled, the Volume control is A10K, any electrolytics in the audio path are replaced with tantalum, and I used 2SC1815 since 2SC732 are unobtanium. Hardware is from LMS. I currently have an NE5532P in there instead of the 4558, I plan on trying the 4559 as well at a later time.
