Promethium - 1.5uf Cap

I've got a 1u and 2.2u cap in my stash right now. This is for the gyrator section of the EQ in the Promethium. I know both will technically work, but am wondering which will sound better. Or do I need to bite the bullet and do a Mouser run?

This has come up before and the consensus seemed to be that the 1.5uf cap was essential to THEE hm-2 sound but I haven't messed with it

Unfortunately, that cap is pretty vital unless you're willing to either 1) alter the low end frequency response, or 2) rework the values in that gyrator.

You could always get creative with parallel and series capacitors to get the 1u5 value (e.g., [1u + 1u] || 1u = 1u5, 4u7 + 2u2 = 1u5).

If that's the only thing you need, consider using multiple caps to get you there (ref. above).
