Pyrite Fuzz

Why you putting dykem on your enclosures?

I layout with a scribe and dividers, and Dykem keeps the lines shallow. I try to just scratch through it and not the aluminum to minimize sanding. (I don't like trying to get templates perfectly centered.)

I'm going to shop that remover. It looks way more convenient than gallon cans of acetone, which definitely stink up the shop when a ton inevitably spills when transferring it to smaller containers.

I got a milk bag of salvaged radio knobs at an antique store awhile back. They say Made in USA, Chicago on the back. They are perfect for a two knob 125B. I have another 6 or so.

I recommend this build. It will be nice for people to be able to see the PCB in the gut shot if you build one. 😂

They're probably genuine Daka-ware. I have a few of them, and look for opportunities to use them, as on my headphone amp here.

Yours look older and cooler, though.

Excellent to see, @LeJert! 🙌 Really puttin' those low-gainers to good use! They look fantastic, man.

Regarding Pyrite demos - I put a couple clips on Soundcloud so far, but they're kinda placeholders until I do something uh... better. :) One is a straightforward High/Med/Low Depth test and the other is a little clip using lowest Depth on one guitar and bass (really shines on the latter, surprisingly) and high Depth on some harmonizing guitars.
