Hey guys. I really suck at identifying resistors by stripe still. I’m having trouble where when my volume is maxed it’s still just below unity gain. Everything else sounds good to me. Can anyone help??

Ok so I found that I had a 2.2k in R18 instead of 2.2M. But the pedal is still just barely at unity. Maybe that’s normal?

Thanks for the resource. I confirmed every component to be correct. Reflowed everything …… cleaned etc etc to no avail. I started fresh with a new pcb and all is well. Sounds like it should (fantastic.)

I actually haven’t had many failures so my troubleshooting abilities aren’t the greatest. So it bothers me that I couldn’t figure this one out. I’m leaning towards a problem with Q3. Maybe a super weak hfe? It was to mangled to test in the end.
