Queen Brian May Fans - Deacy Pedal Project

Dear all,

I am looking at doing a Deacy style pedal. There is a company that does one and I am considering reverse engineering it.

I believe they are built on vero. I am 95% sure I could knock up a schematic from it but need help from someone who is 100%, it’s the power section that will likely catch me out. I mean I may get it and it’s gooped.

The thing is going to cost me £200 😳

Any one up for it, ideally UK based ?
 
Can’t commit to helping out with this one, but I’m definitely interested in watching from the sidelines, and I’ll definitely build one from the schematic when you trace it.

Honestly not that interested in the Queen/Brian May aspect of it (though I do enjoy listening to Queen every once in a while), but I’m a huge fan of old school solid state amps and especially smaller low-power transistor amps like the Deacy and Pignose.

yeah i saw that one, was kinda shocked to see someone had actually used my layout.

probably wouldn’t be that hard for someone (smarter than me) to adjust that schematic for a pedal application.

Ahh.... if you're saying what I think you're saying then:

No, it will not be gooped.
Yes, it will be vero.
It will be very questionably built internally, duct tape and cardboard will be involved.
It will almost definitely be a clone of something... is there a ROG project that matches the control layout?

The elusiveness is hilarious, even though I started it 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t ’think’ it’s based on anything over at ROG, but I could be very wrong, it’s the Mr Deaky - Iv had a look through ROGs archives and can’t see anything that matches. I do love a bit of duct tape though !!!
