TRANSLOCATOR Application #6
Should've been more specific in my previous post.
The Translocator has so many applications beyond what is shown in the docs, but the one that's of most interest in this thread's context is the Application #6, the "Pre/Post Switcher", for which they use a Wah as an example placing the wah at the front or end of the chain — but really, you can have the insert/extraction points wherever you want in your chain.
For example, #6's cousin is "Application #5 Pre/Post Switcher", which does the same exact thing but just within the context of an amp's FX-loop.
The one thing I would NOT do is use Application #2 (Guitar-in switching between 2 amps) as suggested, unless you add in some isolation transformers etc.
