resistor swap

This may help.... or not if you don't have the parts. If you need a 470R you can put 2 resistors in line that total 470R, such as 250R + 220R...

Simply solder two pins of the resistors together and the other two pins in the board... It make sorts of a A shape...

I did that in the past as I couldn't source the exact required value...

Yep, but it might be safer to piggyback one resistor onto the other before installing so you don't have to force two sets of leads into the PCB.
