... stands for Random Noise Generating Delay.

It’s a random noise generator into a PT2399 delay with a load of controls, PCB is from Effects Layout.

Well, it sure does what it says on the tin! It's totally crazy and delivers all sorts of weird noises in spades.
Not suited for your blues cover band, but I dig it!

I’ve been heavily debating this as my next 2399-based build. Yours looks really great! Do you find it to be pretty useable on bass? Wondering since it seems to cut a significant amount of low-end in most settings in the videos I’ve seen

Well, there can be some low end loss happening, sure, but it can also be there - and depending on the settings, all the frequencies can get smashed. So, not sure about "usable" ... but let's say, it does not seem to be "bass-unfriendly".

I'd say, go for it!
