Robot with EXP. Pedal jack

I find it could be interesting to have the control Potentiometer soldered with a switching jack which would be expression pedal to control the pedal with the foot.
Could anyone help with a little wiring scheme to explain how this could be done ?

also - to anyone who built it yet - would you recommend replacing the gain trimmer with a poti as well ?

Yes I think the gain trim pot as an external pot is good. The PCBGM version (which I built) does this and it's a good addition.

I recommend this wiring- Omit the connections to pin 1 / sleeve.



Having done this in the past, I didn't find it terribly useful. The range seemed neutered regardless of expression pedal setting

and say I want to build an Espression pedal using a big Knob instead of using an Expression pedal with the 'wah movement'.
I want to go for the 'turnning out a ciggarrete on teh floor movement'..
what lugs of the pot should I solder to the stereo jack ?`and I see its recommended to use linear 10k Pots right ?
