I’m kind of new to fuzz faces. I have this vintage Guyatone one, but it has too much mojo for regular use.

I went with the analogman one because why not have an external bias pot?

Shout out to @jjjimi84 for his tutorial video on biasing this pedal. I know it’s one where you just twist it ‘till it sounds good, but it’s nice to have a reference point. I biased it with the external knob at noon.

I had fun messing with my guitar electronics to see how it changes the fuzz. It’s surprisingly versatile.

Thanks! It was close enough to what I was going for, an unamused expression.

I used BC108s. These are the ones I ordered:

The fuzz you built is the best one. It starts and ends with the Analog Man BC108.

The next step would be a transistor based overdrive, like a Resinite or a BSIAB2
