Sanguine Distortion

Breadboard Baker
This is an older build that I simply didn’t post on here. I attempted to go acrylic paint on this one. I rushed it a little bit and you can see from the pics. I was attempting to go for an EVH style.

On the fence about troubleshooting this one. For some reason I have to turn the Treble pot up and the Bass pot down to get workable tones. See the pics doll to see what I mean.
Overall I am happy with this build and would recommend to anyone looking for that heavy, saturated gain tone. Btw it sounds better through the effects loop rather than in front of the amp. I think that’s the general consensus here.
Thanks!

I just boxed one of these up last night and it's heavy as heck. Seems like it would be just as useful for someone in a hum/swervedriver/nothing-style shoegaze band as much as a straight metal band.

I was really impressed with how QUIET the thing is considering how much gain and saturation it's putting out. It definitely chugs.

Are you noticing that the bass pot is still too strong? Also have to crank the treble pot too otherwise way too muddy.
