This is the Maniac Flanger based off the MXR M117.

This is my 3rd Schu-Tone tone and once again @dan.schumaker knocked it out of the park.

Sometimes stacked boards can be intimidating but this went super easy. Great layout to fit everything with 1/4 watt resistors. It was tight but all fit well.

Sounds great. Ive never played the OG but comparing it to my Byzantium build it's definitely got a different flavor.

Biasing was pretty easy. Not sure about the clock setting. Tuned it by ear and it sounds good. No self-oscillation or weird things happening. Just the calming swooshing sounds.

I will be going back to label the knobs and possibly throw a graphic on it but for now, its blacked out.

Highly recommended.

YAY!!
Mine is in my 'build queue', as I have a few others in progress for my cousins. I've always intended on having two flangers: one 'jet'-based (either MXR or ADA), and one 'sweeter' (Electric Mistress, Ibanez FL-301DX or Boss Hi-Band).
Great to hear this build went well!
