I built a Sea Horse with @Chuck D. Bones mods: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/sea-horse-mods.5162/
The pedal functions correctly. Silent in bypass, silent when ON and not playing. But when I play a note, there is a static or white noise sound along with the repeats.
I've read that pt2399 chips are noisy. Is this what I'm hearing?
I don't have another chip to swap. I was thinking in my next parts order, I could add a chip or two to see if there is a difference.
Otherwise, the pedal is pretty cool and tweakable for a lot of different repeats.
But as it stands, the noise is annoying enough that I took the pedal off my board
Thank you,
Dan
