searching for components

the 1u 22u and 10u.. electrolytic caps
I don’t want to sound harsh, but did you actually try searching Tayda, Stompbox Parts, or any of the other vendors that people recommended? I just went to Tayda and entered the search term “1uf” into the search bar. I hit enter and had no trouble finding plenty of 1uF electrolytic capacitors for pennies a piece. I did the same at Stompbox Parts and immediarely found the 1uF electrolytic capacitors. Same for 10uF and 22uF electrolytics. None of those parts are remotely rare or difficult to find, so I’m not sure what the issue is here.

thanks i will exercise more patience

Took me a couple tries to realize that the search on Tayda will return results for 1uf but not for 1u which was throwing me in a loop years ago! But once you know that secret code, all doors open.

You'll also get different results searching for 0.47uF (20 items) instead of 470nF (13 items), 1000nF instead of 1uF, and similar.

i am still having trouble finding parts it must be so many people are building and the big companies probably purchase 98 % what is even on the market leaving 2% for hobbyist and hobbyist probably throw lots of money per each individual value components purchasing in bulk no doubt , i look eBay, amazon , mouser , Digi key, stomp box parts, tayda, basically anywhere and everywhere
We specifically try not to let large orders run us out of stock and often hold back a small quantity for smaller buyers. Of course restocking is a bit of a nightmare these days...

There are no parts being hoarded by anybody that is making them hard to find for builders.

It's a you problem my friend
